Roanoke man arrested for burglary, theft of property

Auburn, Ala. - On Dec. 4, 2024, Auburn Police, with assistance from the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, arrested Roscoe Louis Holloway, age 60, from Roanoke, Alabama, on warrants charging him with burglary second degree, theft of property third degree and theft of property fourth degree.

The arrest stems from Auburn Police receiving a burglary report on Nov. 29, 2024. A victim reported that on Nov. 28, a suspect made unlawful entry into a residence located in the 800 block of Gregory Glen Road. The suspect stole multiple items from the residence before fleeing in a vehicle.

Roscoe Louis Holloway was developed a suspect, and after further investigation, arrest warrants were obtained for burglary and theft. Holloway was located by Randolph County Sheriff’s deputies on Dec. 4. Holloway was arrested in obedience to the warrants and transported to the Randolph County Jail.

Holloway was transported to the Auburn Police Department and the warrants were executed. He was then transported to the Lee County Jail and held on a $7,500 bond.

All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
